It does start to kind of get a plot around the time of the 6th girl, or at least he starts forming connections and gaining a goal, but yeah till then its just grinding in dungeon and bed.

to me i also was getting a general sense that this show is leaning more towards Slice of Life..in that regards i don't think there will be a season 2either but i fucking hope so, id love to see him 10years down the road with advanced skills and episodes of him at the very least clearing a dungeon, even if its lowkey and nobody discovers his ability level. BECAUSE WHY ELSE show us all that super out of place episode where he's supposedly survived 10 years down the line or something like that and has a whole party. it would for sure hurt to see them not follow through with how much potential it has
